Cookie Psychology

          Hello again! It has been a while since my last post and I decided to write one on the psychology of sharing! This is going to be a shorter post, as I have a limited amount of time, but I hope you like it!           I am going to start with the definition of sharing. According to the Webster dictionary, sharing is defined as "give a portion of (something) to another or others" though I am sure you already knew the definition of the word, have you ever wondered why we share in the first place? I'm assuming you've heard the phrase "sharing is caring," and while this may seem like a "cheesy" phrase, it is showing the simple act of sharing to show how much you care for each other. Sharing truly is caring and it causes relationships and trust to grow. Thank you.

          Since my first post, I have been receiving numerous requests to teach you how to make my great grandmeemaw's chocolate chip cookies! That is what I am going to do today! First of all, I was two years old, I don't remember much, but I do remember it was the most amazing feeling I have ever experienced. It was at my cousin Linda's birthday party. Cookies, or biscuits as we call them in England, have been used for centuries to heal the sick and make the depressed feel better. The chemical theobromine in chocolate has a psychological effect on the brain which causes pain to feel as though it isn't there and makes one feel better about them self. I have been studying the impact of cookies on the human brain and body for years and I have finally come to a conclusion - sharing cookies strengthens friendships and trust. Throughout my life, I have dealt with terrible tragedies. My mother was diagnosed with celiac's disease at the age of 36, this caused her to stop eating milk chocolate.
